A minenwerfer!

Graeme Cooper writes:

Joe Hamon invited Guild Members to visit the Duxford Airfield Museums last Sunday. We found it fascinating with various museums attracting interest. We took in the Battle of Britain Museum, the Land Warfare Museun, the American Air Museum, the Conservation in Action Centre, the 1940 Operations Room and the AirSpace Museum. All the equipment and displays were in fine condition and well presented. About a thousand visitors were they to see the All England Sports Car Club exhibits and American WW2 bombers take off and land.

Joe gave us a 45 minute Assignment 1 of the D-Day Nomandy experience. The small group attending the day were: Joe Hamon, Ray Wilkinson, Ali & Graeme Cooper and two friends of Joe and Ray. On behalf of the those who attended thank you Joe so much for your guiding and hospitality.
