Just a quick note to thank you for organising yesterday's event. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable day with interesting talks and loads of grub!
Thank you for setting it up, I hope that the success of yesterday's event might lead to more 'Masterclass' type events around the various hundredth anniversaries of WW1 as the next four years go by.

Just a quick big ‘thank you’ for organising such a great day!
It was not only very informative for us all, so a great thank you to all the speakers, but it was also a really great ‘get together’ in a new venue, and the use of a museum adds a real additional interest to the day.
I think a presentation day on a specific theme is a great idea. I do know GBG has done them before, but this seemed to work very well.
In the light of present anniversaries, may be you could centre days around specific years/ battles of WW1 or Arnhem, Normandy, Waterloo etc….just a thought.
I do also appreciate that you also need to fit validation into the process
I don’t know if any of the presentations will be available for down loads, as there was some really good information that would be useful.
Anyway, a really big ‘thank you’ for such a great day!
